Earth Shaker Farming Build
[W/Mo KD Hammer Farmer;OQMT00oOXywKsYHUs4qYrwfQeA]
I just saw the Earth Shaker farming build in PvX Wiki. I'm wondering: how does this work?
I mean, I get the concept, but one thing I don't get: won't this die too quickly? With Vigorous Spirit as your only heal, and your taking up to 30 damage from HM mobs each, then won't it be a little hard for you to heal? I now Endure Pain is there but, shouldn't a blocking stance be used?
I know there's the Gladiator's Defense, Bonetti's Defense, Shield Stance, and Disciplined Stance melee farming build, but on those builds there aren't any interrupts for enemy heals. Earth Shaker is an interrupt, but this build doesn't have any block stances. So won't it die too quickly?

Well only a few things to say if you would of checked out the whole page of the build. http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:W/Mo_KD_Hammer_Farmer
1. It only states the it can do "This build has only been tested on farming trolls. Although it seems to work against Hulking Stone Elementals in Hard Mode."
Seems and HM is only for teh Elementals because they only come in groups of 3-4. Trolls are done in NM
2. At the very bottom of the build page there is a video that you could of easily clicked watch and had a demonstration and wouldn't be asking your question here.
Also take now that Video added [Live Vicariously] in place of [Balthazar's Spirit] and is using a Zealous Hammer for E-management which would be a better choice than what the OP of the build has set-up.

Well that'd be almost the same as using the axe Gladiator's Defense build. Which is HM.

There is a video on youtube of a guy farming with this build on Minotaurs in Anvil Rock. Just look up "Guild Wars Hard Mode."

I kinda agree with what your saying.
But why would you want to farm with a hammer?

Why not? If it works, whats the problem? There might be quicker ways to farm certain things, but there could be places where hammers are better (unlikely, but meh). Besides, some people like hammers.

Also you will be taking far less damage anyway as most of the enemies will be knocked down most of the time.

Your defense comes in the permanent AoE kd situation. With FGJ up as long as your mob is 4 enemies then each shot from Crude or Whirlwind will fully recharge Earth Shaker.
Once you are charged up.
Earth Shaker>FGJ+Crude>Earth Shaker>Whirlwind>Earthshaker>Crude>Earthshaker and on and on.
You really wont get hit much.
Is it the most effecient though is another story. Fun, yes.
